This interface must be implemented by all classes used in filtering an input stream to a DriverIn object.

readNotification

public Notification readNotification()
                              throws java.lang.ClassNotFoundException,
                                     java.io.IOException

Gets a Notification from the stream.

Returns:

a notification, or null on end of stream.

Throws:

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException - when the notification class may not be found

java.io.IOException - thrown by the underlying stream operations

close

public void close()
           throws java.io.IOException

Closes the stream.

Throws:

java.io.IOException
